Born and raised in southwest Oklahoma, Colte is an actor and musician whose recent credits include: Jerry Lee Lewis u/s in Million Dollar Quartet, Roger in Rent, and Herakles in Sondheim's The Frogs. Colte learned how to drive a tractor before a car but most importantly started learning piano at the age of 9. In college, Colte studied piano and agriculture before deciding to pursue music professionally. After completeing a BA in Music at Oklahoma State University he moved to Arizona to complete a MM in Musical Theatre Performance at Arizona State University.
Colte has been fortunate enough to perform with exceptional people like Will Chase, Kelly O'Hara, and Eric Schaeffer, and meet and work side by side tons of talented performers while bartneding and performing at the NYC piano bar Don't Tell Mama. While in Arizona, he performed with the Arizona State University Symphonic Orchestra and performed numerous concerts of classical, jazz, and broadway music in Arizona and on the high seas while working with Holland America Line.
When not on stage Colte loves to teach, arrange, and accompany for the National FFA Organziation inspiring those other musical farm kids out there. Creating art that makes the soul feel alive is his mission in this electrifying career.
